Ingredients:
- 8 oz. egg noodles, cooked and drained
- 1/2 lb. Ground Beef
- 1/2 lb. Ground Pork
- 4 cups of Chunky Spaghetti Sauce
- 1 1/2 cups of Ricotta Cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) package of Cream Cheese (softened)
- 1/3 cup of Sour Cream
- 1/2 cup of Green Onions (greens only)
- 4 oz. of Frozen Onions and Pepper Blend
- 1 cup of Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- Kosher Salt and Freshly Cracked Black Pepper (to taste)
- 3 TBSP Italian Seasoning
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375ยบ F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, season beef, pork and frozen onion/pepper mix with Italian seasoning and saute until browned and cooked through.
Drain fat, then add meat mixture, cooked noodles, and spaghetti sauce to a large mixing bowl.
In a separate mixing bowl stir together ricotta cheese, cream cheese, sour cream and green onions.
Add 1/2 of meat mixture to baking dish, then top with ricotta cheese mixture. Cover with remaining meat mixture.
Place baking dish in oven and bake for 35 minutes uncovered.
Remove dish from oven and top with shredded cheese (and a little grated parm if you wish).
Bake for additional 10 until cheese is melted then remove from oven.
Rest for 10 minutes before serving.
